Kris Keys is a contemporary watercolor artist, performer, and designer whose art explores themes of memory, identity, lineage, and healing. She began painting as a child dealing with hereditary blood and used art as a form of relaxation and expression. She transforms personal and ancestral narratives, especially tied to her health and family memories into visually rich, emotionally resonant collections of art, tea, fashion, and experiences. Her work invites audiences to slow down, connect with themselves, and find solace through beauty.

For a limited time, I’m opening the archives of Come Roll My Hair through May 31 — releasing a rare selection of original paper and canvas works from the collection. Many of these pieces have been held privately and have never been made available to collect until now. Each painting carries the texture, memory, and spirit of the work exactly as it was created during that season of my life. Once these originals are acquired, they will not be reproduced in this form again. Explore the archives below.
