Kris Keys is a contemporary watercolor artist, performer, and designer whose art explores themes of memory, identity, lineage, and healing. She began painting as a child dealing with hereditary blood disorder at St. Jude, using art as a form of relaxation and expression. She transforms personal and ancestral narratives, especially tied to her health and family memories into visually rich, emotionally resonant collections and experiences. Her work invites audiences to slow down, connect with themselves, and find solace through beauty. Trained professionally in fashion in New York and London, Kris’ work has also been featured across major platforms including CNN, London College of Fashion, The Lancet Haematology, St. Jude, and botanical institutions around the world. Kris often leads workshops in conjunction with her floral tea brand where she teaches techniques on using watercolors and flowers as a method of self discovery and healing.
Scarves
A marriage of science and art, this scarf is crafted from an airy modal + silk blend that drapes with fluid elegance. Painted with HER own interpretation of red blood cells, the design carries the pulse of life itself in watercolor form. The scarf can be worn around the neck, shoulders, wrapped as a dress, a skirt, or even framed as art.
